Review :

While in a parallel narration, Sundaram (Bharathirajaa), carries the same bag containing a Rs 5 crore worth panchalokha idol for completing a deal of his criminal-bestie Ekambaram (PL Thenappan)

Situations get worse when Sekar (Kumaravel), to whom Sundaram delivers the bag of idol, tries to play a double game by turning Sundaram a hostage.

While, the pre-title card block reveals the intensity of relationships between Sundaram and Kathir and Sundaram and Ekambaram, which sets the base for the rest of the story.

Bharathiraja plays an emotionally charged character. He is right there delivering his best.

Seemingly a take-off from his role in Pandiyaa Naadu, Kurangu Bommi brings out the talented actor in the filmmaker.

Vitharth who chooses variety in his films does a best job. P L Thenappan and Krishnamoorthy do a superb act.

Delna Davis plays a bold girl in the film. But Kumaravel is the flesh and blood of the movie.

He plays a role of a role with grey shades that is real.Though he was popular for his comical roles in the past, he does a splendid show as billain.

Ajaneesh Loganathan music and N S Udhayakumar’s cinematography elevates the content.Kurangu Bommai is a refreshing tale of father-son bonding dealt well.

On the flipside, there are a few worries like the uninteresting romantic portions in the first half, a needless song towards the end.

While the whole movie is very much relatable and realistic, that song, in the end, makes you get disconnected.

The director has also made use of the cinematic liberties at places, which looks odd, in a film with this mood and style.

The accident in the police station and Vidaarth forgetting to take the bag from the hospital are a few examples. If you could go through these, you would enjoy a quality piece of cinema.

Verdict : Movie moves its screenplay in a decent way and all characters supports the story line very strong atlast the movie will creates us a great impact....
