Updated on : 27 June 2015

Former Wimbledon runner-up Agnieszka Radwanska will face Swiss Belinda Bencic in the final of the Eastbourne International.

Bencic, 18, progressed when second seed Caroline Wozniacki retired hurt, with the Dane 3-0 down in the first set.

Wozniacki said she had been suffering from a back injury, but expects to play at Wimbledon, which begins on Monday.

Polish ninth seed Radwanska won 6-1 6-7 (7-3) 6-2 against American world number 43 Sloane Stephens.

Radwanska, 26, who lost the 2012 Wimbledon final to Serena Williams, has been drawn to face another American, Edina Gallovits-Hall, in the first round at Wimbledon.

"I'm very happy to be in this final again," said the 2008 Eastbourne winner.

"It's been a long time. Today it was so tough with the wind. It's the worst thing for players. It was a struggle form start to finish."

Bencic has climbed to 33 in the world with a series of impressive results, including a run to the final of the Topshelf Open in the Netherlands two weeks ago.
