Tax Exemption Granted For Manithan

The DMK’s treasurer Stalin’s son Udhayanidhi’s Manithan movie was not given entertainment tax. The tax department has told that the movie has got “U” certificate and the movie’s story was not in favor of Tamil language and the court scenes are very vulgar.







A scene about lawyers’ fight is against the court and the word “Manithan” is a Sanskrit word and the exact Tamil words are Maandhan and Maandhar. The industry’s cinematographer and a director have told that there is no violence in this movie and it is a good story.







Many members have told that few scenes where the lawyers have acted violently by throwing things are not accepted. Such type of scenes will create bad impression about the court among the people. The Tamilnadu government has announced that Manithan movie will not get tax benefits.
