Kochi Planned To Organise South Asia’s Biggest Film Market In November

Kochi has been chosen to host the first ever All Lights India International Film Festival (ALIIFF) and Indywood Film Market ( IFM), South Asia’s biggest film market between 15th 2015 organized by All Lights Film Services, India’s leading film services Organization.
All Lights India International Film Festival (ALIIFF):
ALIIFF aims at providing a unique platform for global film Industry to portray excellence in film making, aids to inspire, nurture and integrate the Indian Cinema industry thereby facilitating congregation of people and nations.
ALIIFF stands for ‘Cinema for Knowledge’. It is also committed to showcasing the best and most innovative new films for the audience. According to ALIIFF every movie is a piece of learning experience. A Special film festival for students is also planned by ALIIFF in order to encourage the future film makers.
Well organized film workshops featuring many industry stalwarts giving lectures on various aspects of Cinema will be held as part of the student film festival. Film submission to ALIIFF has already opened.
The festival welcomes submissions to different categories of films from around the globe up to 30th of September. It accepts short films, documentaries as well as features. Competition categories are International Competition for Best Feature Film, 3D and Animated Feature Film.
Another section of ALIIFF is in order to select the Films of Debut Directors. Apart from competition categories, the festival also showcases Cinema for Women, Cinema for children, Cinema for Life, Cinema for Care and musical movies for the delegates.
Indywood Film Market (IFM):
Indywood Film Market (IFM) is designed to fulfill the needs of film industry professionals. It aims at facilitating production and distribution deals of international films in Indian Market and the sales of Indian Cinema to International Market.
IFM is a one stop destination for market screenings of films, workshops, seminars, networking sessions, panel discussions and trade expos.
Opening ceremony of both events is scheduled on 15th of November.
Sohan Roy – Director of Oscar contented movie DAM999 is the founder Director of ALIIFF and IFM. He is also the founder Director and CEO of Aries Group of Companies headquartered in UAE.
