Leonardo DiCaprio Conversation To Obama
Updated on : 26 September 2016

Oscar winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio will be conversing with US President Obama about the climate change on 3rd October. The white house has just officially confirmed the news.

DiCaprio’s National Geographic documentary 'Before the Flood' will also be screened in the event, which will also be attended by climate scientist Dr. Katharine Hayhoe.

It is to remember that Dicaprio has talked about climate change in his speech at the oscars ceremony after getting the award.

He quoted in his speech “Climate change is real, and it’s happening right now. It is the most urgent threat facing our entire species, and we need to work collectively together and stop procrastinating. We need to support leaders around the world who do not speak for the big polluters or the big corporations, but who speak for all of humanity, for the indigenous people of the world…and for those people out there whose voices have been drowned out by the politics of greed.”
