Gautham Karthik is teaming up with director Kannan for his next titled 'Ivan Thanthiran'.
The film has 'U-Turn' fame Shraddha Srinath, as its female lead. The latest about the film is that it is set against the backdrop of a college, with Gautham playing the role a college student.
"The film revolves around the relationship between a son and his father. I play a college dropout in the film. The character has its own share of struggles in life — I look out for my friends who are still in college.
I do reverse engineering, copying or making duplicates of original products. In fact, the China phones and other duplicate electronic items you find in the market today is mostly done by reverse engineers. How we get into a political fight later forms the story," says Gautham.
The shooting of the film is almost complete, and if everything goes well, this will be the next film of Gautham to hit the screens. "I have one more song shoot left for this film," he adds. The film is slated to release on February 2017.

Rajini no explains what really happened
Superstar Rajinikanth made headlines across all media platforms on Tuesday for participating in the Man vs Wild reality show hosted by Bear Grylls. The show required celebrities to spend a day and a night with the host and survive in the forest atmosphere. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the high profile guest on the show last time.
Rumours started spreading that Rajini injured himself in the Bandipur forest in Karnataka where he was shooting and he was hurt in the shoulders and ankles. We had clarified with official sources in the Superstar camp and ran the news story that it was a rumour.
Rajini returned to Chennai in the night flight and explained to the journalist that he did encounter a few scratches by thorns in the bushes but is hale and healthy. He also shared that the shoot is completed and Discovery Channel will telecast it soon.

India’s largest payments platform Paytm (owned by One97 Communications Limited) has today announced that it will be onboarding 1 million merchants from Tamil Nadu and Kerala in the next 12 months. Paytm is making payments more convenient with its dynamic QR for merchants where QR code specific to a single order can be generated which merchants can integrate into any PoS system.

It has enabled them to manage their payments, view all their transactions in one place, order Paytm QR merchandise among various other services.
