Filmmaker K Subhash Passes Away

Senior Tamil filmmaker K Subhash breathed his last in Chennai on Wednesday. He was reportedly undergoing treatment in SRM hospital in Chennai for kidney ailments.





“He was suffering from kidney failure and was on dialysis for the last few years. He passed away this morning,”





Subaash started his career as an assistant to Mani Ratnam in 1987 Tamil film Nayagan, and a year later he made his directorial debut with Prabhu-starrer Kaliyugam.





For the last few years, he has been writing scripts and dialogues. Some of the biggest Bollywood films like Chennai Express, Housefull 3, Entertainment, etc. were written by this senior Tamil filmmaker only.
