Lyricist Arunraja Kamaraj Turns Into Director

Lyricist, actor and singer Arunraja Kamaraj takes new avatar as director for the story based on women cricket. 





Kabali ‘Neruppu Da’ fame Arunraja had entered film industry to become a film maker. He took up acting and lyrics writing to earn his livelihood. 





His aspiration is to become a director and he says it is a right time to do it.





 In a recent interview he said “the script i had written is based on women cricket. I wrote the script before women’s world cup and got confidence when I saw the people cheered up the team. The script tells in spite of gender how the family support is important for the sport person to become success.





My writings are inspired from several real-life incidents. I am looking for the casts that require several girls who can play cricket. The auditions are underway for heroine and other supporting artists.”





He had penned several songs right from ‘Rathiri’, ‘Engo Odugindrai’ of Pizza 2012 and started his singing career from ‘Ding Dong’ song of Jigarthanda. He made acting debut in Atlee’s Raja Rani.
