India Global Short Film Festival 2018

India Global Short Film Festival (www.igsff.com) is going to to be held in the month of October 2018 in Chennai. 



Across various locations in Chennai, 80 Films would be screened for the finals; Workshops with Film Makers and Actors and much more would happen. 



The final day of the screening and the Awards Night will be held on the 14th of October 2018 at Prasad Lab, Chennai.



The early bird deadline would be on July 30th, 2018 and the Extended Deadline will be on the 5th of October 2018. 



Seminars and Special Sessions would be conducted, which would be enriching for Film – Enthusiasts. 



This will be a major step for the Short Film Festivals happening in India which will offer great opportunities for both International and Indian filmmakers who will compete in International and National competition. 



We aim to share great stories with the audience while supporting independent filmmakers. Whether you made a film with a minimum or a huge budget, what will really captivate the audience is the story!



Together with various communities supporting the event, we aim to bring entertainment, inspiration, and culture to the communities by showing stories from around the world and utilizing the impact great cinema can have upon an audience or issue.



This Short Film Festival is organized by Vgosh Media ( www.vgoshmedia.in)  and supported by various institutions including Film and Television Producers of the Guild, Big FM, Filmfreeway, KSK Media and more. 



The Award categories include - International: Best Short Fiction, Best Short Documentary, Best Short Animation, Best Short Experimental, Best Short Film ( Comedy / Drama / Action / Horror), Best Indian Short Film  - Special Awards: Best Children’s Short Film.



The festival is very passionate about promoting the work of all officially selected films before, during and after the festival.
