7th Norway Tamil Film Festival

Movies are always magic! Everyone has a favorite film, actor, quote and genre. They have helped define our culture, attitudes, style and fashion. Good news to all of you who are working in Tamil film industry. The Norwegian government has opened its arms for Indian filmmakers and is offering up to 25 per cent subsidy for shooting in Norway.
We would like to thank all our followers and Chief Guest you all made our film festival a grand success for past 6 years. The preparation for the seventh film festival is already in progress. NTFF 2016 Board members modify rules and Regulations for submission of Full length and Short films during January 2016 at Oslo.
As a non-profit organization, NTFF put on the efforts and enthusiasm of many people to bring our festival to fruition. We would like to extend a very sincere thank you to everyone who helps to make this wonderful event possible to our enthusiastic audiences who are growing in numbers every year. From this year we plan to collect the minimum entry fee to all full length and short films refer the cost below.
Entry fee for Feature /Full Length Film – 100 € (Euros)
Entry fee for Short Film, Music Videos, Animation and Documentary – 50 € (Euros)

Norway Tamil Film Festival - Tamilar Awards 2016, 35 nomination categories!

Few of Our Achievements Includes:
2010: Movie “Nandhalala” was first recorganized by NTFF and Screened in Norway for the first time. Then won Best film- Tamilar Award, after then it was released in India.
2010: Movie”1999” by Lenin.M.Sivam from Canada was first recorganized by NTFF and won first people choice –Tamil Award in Norway.
2011:Movie “Then Merku Parava Katru” was first reorganized by NTFF and awarded as a Best Screenplay - special jury Tamilar Award , after then it won Best Regional film in India.
2011: Short films”Raavanam, Neer” was selected for Best Story: Karthick Subbaraj- who became a well-known director of Pizza, Jigarthanda)
2013:The Film Venera Iravugal (Malasiya Tamils) screened at our festival and reorganized well at Tamil nadu and other parts of the world. Won awards locally at Malaysia for various categories.
2013:Short Film “Tamil Ini” – Best Director Mani Ram from America won – Tamilar Award
2014: The film Paranoid Patient (Denmark Tamils) screened at our festival was select for the International Film Festival of Tamilnadu and won the best film award this December. The jury panel did not decide this but it was an audience award.
2015:Kayal Movie – Norway based Actor Mr.Vincent (Nagulan) got selected by Mr.Prabu Solomon during his visit to our film festival in 2014.
